TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is for people who are currently working in or wish to enter the training and assessment field. It prepares those with responsibility for training program development and delivery as well as assessment of training participants or employees.

Individual units can be studied, resulting in a Statement of Attainment, as required but all units are required for the complete Certificate. 'See Products Page for more information.

Places are still available for these courses please contact our office (Ph:49264645) for an enrolment form. Bookings are essential to ensure your place at all courses.

Courses outside of Rockhampton please phone the trainer directly. Courses held in Rockhampton include morning tea. Due to increasing dietary needs of our participants lunchtime meals are not catered for, there is a good variety of food outlets nearby our training venues or if so required you can provide your own meals to meet your needs, a fridge is available.

Course costs may vary in each location due to travelling time outside of Rockhampton.

Rockhampton course fees are in total, there are NO hidden or additional costs.

If you are attending the bridging upgrade course you must have completed all 8 units of the former Cert. IV in Assessment and Workplace Training (BSZ40198).

Supporting documentation for the TAA upgrade course must include;

  • A certified copy of your qualification and Statement of Results.
  • A letter of verification (letter of currency on company letterhead) from your employer or manager/supervisor verifying your training and assessing you have delivered (Please see note below) or;
  • A letter from your self stating that all information provided is accurately portrayed as your own work if you submit work related examples. This letter is to be on a Statutory Declaration form.

NOTE: Please ensure you provide the course code, name of the course and length of course (i.e. 4 hours, 1 day, 1 week) you are or have been training, how you collected evidence that the learner was competent (visual written, practical) and how long you have been training.

Recognition of Prior Learning and or Recognition of Current Competencies

Rocky Safety Consultancy recognises RPL and RCC which means we will assess you on your previous experience and/or qualifications. An additional fee will apply for RPL/RCC.

RPL/RCC: If you wish to apply for RPL/RCC please review the Units of Competency you are applying for and are available from the National Training Information Services website: www.ntis.gov.au

We would like to advise applicants that we recommend you access these units to assist you in gathering the relevant evidence when applying for RPL/RCC.

Evidence must meet the Performance Criteria/Evidence Guide of the unit you are applying for RPL/RCC. Please clearly identify what evidence relates to the Performance Criteria.

To be awarded the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAA40104) you will need to provided evidence of the 12 core units and 2 electives. Evidence can be produced from a variety of sources which can include; previous qualifications, previous work experience, work products/examples that you have have personally completed, 3rd party reports, on the job (direct) evidence and questioning from our trainer.

Your evidence must meet the following; VALID it must specifically relate to the units of competency in the TAA40104, SUFFICIENT the evidence supplied must cover a broad range of contexts over a period of time, CURRENT it must be deemed current by our trainer and AUTHENTIC the evidence supplied must be your own work.
