TAA40104 Certificate IV
in Training and Assessment replaces BSZ40198 Certificate
IV in Assessment and Workplace Training. This course is
designed to meet the training and assessment needs of individuals,
training organisation's and industry. The Courses provides
VET Trainers, Human Resource Personnel and Training Facilitators
with a sound foundation for training design, development
and delivery, and enables them to promote a positive learning
environment and improve professionalism within the VET and
training sector.
The Certificate
is recognised by the Department of Education, Science and
Training (DEST) as the benchmark qualification for Competency
Based Assessment and Workplace Training in Australia.

Upgrade from Certificate
IV in Assessment and Workplace Training BSZ40198 to TAA
40104 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
The TAA40104 Upgrade Program
provides the opportunity for individuals to upgrade to the
new qualification. Participants must be able to demonstrate
competence or hold existing qualifications or partial qualifications
in BSZ40198 Cert.IV
in Workplace Training and Assessment.
Terms and Conditions
The upgrade process must be completed within 12 months from
the application date
*A photocopied Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace
Training BSZ40198 must be certified by a Justice of the
Peace to confirm it is a true copy of the original, a letter
of currency from your employer and a letter from yourself
stating what you are submitting is true and correct.
RPL:
If you wish to apply for RPL please review the Units of
Competency that are available from the National Training
Information Services website: www.ntis.gov.au

you in gathering the relevant evidence when applying for
RPL.
30215 QLD – Course
in General Safety Induction (Construction Industry)
This course
develops basic skills and knowledge of relevant workplace
health and safety requirements, obligations and risk management
strategies. The course is an induction program required
under the Workplace Health and Safety Act 1995. It is designed
as a preparatory program for people intending to undertake
construction-type work or the prescribed activity that is
the removal of asbestos materials.
However, those already undertaking these work activities
will also be required to complete the program. Workers must
provide evidence of
having received the induction to their employer
The evidence for 30215 QLD
is a general induction card or a statement of attainment
issued by a registered training organisation.
